We put much emphasis on collaboration with staff, pupils, parents and stakeholders working together towards the common goals of enabling all pupils maximise their potential and develop as productive responsible members of our society.

Behaviour Management and Pupil Attitude are central tenets to the creation of this unique Killicomaine culture and as a result much time, effort and resources are invested in these areas. It is based around the very simple logic that if children are not settled, respectful and well behaved, they cannot reach their true potential.

Our Behaviour Management System is based on:

  • Respect

  • Traditional values

  • Reward

How do we foster and develop this ethos?

Through provision of

  • Christian values

  • Academic excellence

  • Sport

  • Drama

  • Music

  • Education visits

  • Clubs and societies

  • Pupil / Parent / Staff Voice

  • Inclusion

This provision is much appreciated by pupils and parents and this appreciation manifests itself in parents supporting the school and pupils being well-ordered, respectful and contributing to the various clubs and societies. This contribution enhances the school profile while the pupils develop many skills and qualities through their participation in these activities.
