On
Saturday 14th October, Killicomaine Junior High School's Under Fourteen
XV's had the pleasure of welcoming over Yarm
Grammar School from Middlesborough.

The
English players faced strong support for the locals but fought hard
throughout the first half to hold off Killicomaine. The second half
saw a stronger Yarms side on the pitch but Killicomaine did well
to stave off any scoring from this.

The
game ended with a nil nil draw from the evenly matched sides at
which point both pupils and teachers, alongside the mayor of Craigavon,
Mr Kenneth Twyble, were provided with a lunch in the school's dining
hall.

Killicomaine's
Joel Hoey and Luke Magill were presented with man of the match honours
with Joel taking home a rugby ball signed by all who participated.

Craigavon
Mayor and ex Vice principal of Killicomaine, Mr Twyble, presented
Mr Stuart Hardy (leader of the English team) with pens and plaques
for all of the players.

The
touring school went on to play Omagh Academy and to visit Ulster's
Ravenhill Park.
