Annaghmore Primary School has provided local children with the highest quality of education for more than 100 years.

This photo was taken in June 1901, just six months after the school opened.

Mr Johnston, the Principal, is pictured on the left.

Many children came to school in their bare feet. Orphan, James West, ninth from the right in the front row, is wearing a girl's dress. He later gave his life in the Dardenelles during the First World War.
