| The 22nd of December 2005 was a momentous day in the life of the school choir. Following the success of the Christmas CD, the choir received a call from George Jones the Radio Ulster DJ. George invited the choir to appear on his annual "George Jones Christmas Special" live from the Ulster Hall in Belfast. | |

We were on the bill with Dominic Kirwin, Marc Roberts, Moya Brennan (from Clannad), Leya, Leading Ladies, Don Mescal, Gerard Kenny, Festival Brass and a host of other famous stars. |

George
Jones and David Kilpatrick (the producer) were both really friendly
and very reassuring to the children. It was a very exciting experience
taking part in a live radio broadcast and watching all that goes on
behind the scenes. The sandwiches and juice were tremendous as well.
