Killicomaine
won the "Best Kept Large School" competition which is run
by the Northern Ireland Amenity Council in 2006.
Some enthusiastic
10th year pupils have given up their free time to keep the school grounds looking
just as fabulous in 2008.
They have been painting
fences, digging up flowerbeds, power washing, cleaning windows and weeding.
They have cleared
away a lot of weeds.
And they have saved
a few frogs, lol.
The 10th years even
found time for a little fun...long jumping and limbo dancing.
Mostly the pupils
worked hard and took great pride in their work.
By the middle of
June the school grounds were looking fabulous and the pupils were exhausted.
What a great bunch!
