Designing Timers

In year 10 we get to make timers.

Here are the specifications and design brief!

Each pupil chooses a situation where a timer is required.

Then we plan our designs and calculate the material requirements.

We make scale drawings of our designs.
:: :: ::
We need to design the box so the timer circuit will fit inside.

We may consider several options before we decide on a final design.

Some designs are wackier than others!!

Then we get to work.

When we have completed our timers, we evaluate them. This allows us to test their effectivness and discover how our designs could be improved.
