A
group of Year 10 pupils, accompanied
by Mrs Clougher and Mrs McQueen, went to visit Loughry College
outside Cookstown.
We
all had to wear disposable protective clothing, including
headgear, and were hardly able to recognise one another.
As
a group we visited different areas where food production on
an experimental basis was taking place.

We were able to lend a hand with the manufacture of desserts
and we discovered how biscuits appear to be "chequered".
Much
to everyone's amusement, Jill Potts and Lorna Somerville tried
their hands at making sausages.
The
latest computerised technology was in evidence
and we were given an insight into courses available in Loughry
College.
:: :: ::
Perhaps some of us will study there in the future.
:: :: ::
Then again, maybe not !!
