Soirée au Restaurant Français 2008

In April 2008, 10th year French classes went to the Seagoe Hotel for a French meal. The meal was organised by our two French teachers, Mrs Bleakley and Mrs McClenaghan and other teachers came along to make sure no food was wasted!
:: :: ::
We had three courses of delicious French food and had to choose between French Onion soup, chilled melon, a seafood selection or pasta dish for starter.

:: :: ::
For the main course we had either steak, chicken in sauce, salmon or, for reasons unknown to us, the unpopular stuffed aubergine.
:: :: ::
Then to stretch our belt buckles to the limit, this was topped off with either lemon tart, strawberries and ice-cream or strawberry tart.

The dress code for the night was basically anything French or if you weren't daring enough to play the "Three Musketeers", anything red, white and blue would do as well..

Mrs Bleakley had arranged some games to make sure we weren't bored in between courses. We were all split into teams and worked up points by completing a "Who Is It?" picture puzzle, a quiz and finally the hardest exercise of the night, building an Eiffel Tower out of plastic cups.

Thankyou very much to all the teachers for a great evening.
